Cori Bona is at her most comfortable when talking through her hand. She has five years experience working as a puppeteer, maker and workshop leader. She trained at the University of the West of England in Cultural Media Studies and Drama, The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and She then completed Green Ginger’s professional development programme Toast in The Machine.
Having been a designer for two years she has since worked as Production Manager for FairGround Theatre and taught as a Technical Instructor in Lighting and Sound for Theatre at The University of the West of England.
Corina has been producing her own productions and collaborating with other companies Puppets and Pandemonium, Pickled Image, The Little Angel and Gongoozler to make shows for all ages. She has experience puppeteering Bunraku, glove, rod puppets and she is also a confident singer with strong dance skills.
She has made puppets and run workshops for The Bristol Old Vic young company, Company of Angels, Pickled Image, Green Ginger, Scamp Theatre, Stuff and Nonsense Theatre, Puppets and Pandemonium, Soap Soup, Pins and Needles Productions and The Tobacco Factory.
